What are my options for adding GDPR Compliant Names?

As a member of the MyOpenData community, you have two options for adding GDPR compliant names:

1) Combine your MyOpenData targeted download data with your own, existing customer and prospect data even if you do not have a specific GDPR opt-in*. Because your existing data is required by Law to be GDPR compliant, and your MyOpenData download is anonymous, it requires no further regulation opt-ins.

2) Rent or Buy additional GDPR personal data and then append it to your MyOpenData targeted download data. Our sister company Washington Direct Mail Limited (WDM) can help you source, supply and append GDPR Compliant names to your data.

If you require GDPR Compliant names, please initially complete the GDPR Names Enquiry Form on their website.

Note: Please be aware that as MyOpenData is currently in its beta launch phase this process is manual in nature. WDM aims to respond to all data enquiries within the same working day. MyOpenData intends to add an integrated GDPR name appending function in early 2019.

*Unlike email campaigns, mailings can still be sent to recipients without prior GDPR opt-in under the 'legitimate interest' approach. As a best practice measure, data should still be screened against the current Mailing Preference. Organisations must provide an easy opt-out process and maintain an in-house suppression file. You must also respect individuals’ rights not to be contacted if they opt out or object.
